Yitsik Marmelshtein

Since 2012 Mr Marmelshtein has served in various positions within the Israeli Ministry of Finance. Currently, he is head the Infrastructure and PPP Projects Unit and serve as the Chairman of a number of Inter-Ministerial committees, such as: The Sea Desalination Projects Committee, The Solar Energy Projects Committee, The Ground Water Treatment Projects committee. In my role as chairman I am responsible to lead these PPP projects, on behalf of the Government, in conjunction with the private sector and global financial institutions.
On behalf of the Accountant General Office his is additionally responsible for the Ministry’s activity in the sectors of water, electricity, gas and petroleum (serving as member of the Israeli Petroleum Council). This involves working with the governmental companies in these areas. This includes, leading financial agreements, asset arrangements etc.

He holds a B.A. in PPE (Philosophy, Politics & Economics), Graduated Cum Laude, Hebrew University, Jerusalem and an MBA, specializing in Finance and Banking, Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
