Viet-Anh Nguyen

Professor, PhD. Viet-Anh Nguyen has 27 years of experience in water supply and sanitation sector, spending number of efforts in research and development of efficient water supply, appropriate sanitation systems, sludge management and resource recovery. Participation of local users and private sector, development of water and sanitation industry, adaptation to climate change challenges, water digitalization are also among his main interests.

Prof. Nguyen has experiences in long-term and short-term water sector capacity building, devoting his time for education and training for water supply and sanitation specialists in Vietnam. He has been also involved in a number of consultancy works, as well as in inter-sector policy advocacy. He has close connections and plays as a key Vietnamese resource person in the water field for international organizations such as IWA, WHO, WB, ADB, and more.
