Biography
Veronique Bonnelye has a Master of Science, an Engineering Degree in Water and Environment, and more than 25 years of experience in the water business. Following 14 years in R&D focussing on membranes applied to water (drinking water, reuse, desalination and waste water), she became Head of the desalination Department. In 2009, she moved to Australia to lead the process in the Victorian Desalination Project O&M team, leading the O&M/construction interface on the process, implementing the key operation and maintenance mode on the largest seawater desalination of the southern hemisphere. In 2015, she took the position Head of Technical Team for the water business for SUEZ Australia and New Zealand, delivering technical support to the operation of Perth seawater desalination Plant (PSDP) and VDP.
Her fields of expertise are desalination and water reuse, membrane processes and technologies, drinking water treatment; design, engineering, commissioning and operations, with a specific focus on processes and control systems.
