Biography
Mr. Redi Molla has held the position of General Director at the Tirana Water and Wastewater Utility (TWWU) since February 2016. Prior to joining TWWU, Mr. Molla worked at the Municipality of Tirana as General Director at the Tirana Maintenance Department where he brought a new approach for the city maintenance and is also currently a member of the Administrative Council of TWWU.
Mr. Molla is responsible for both the overall technical and financial management of TWWU, as well as representing the utility to third parties. His most recent achievement includes negotiating a 30 Million Euro project with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development – the first phase of which amounts to 15 Million Euro for “Upgrading of part of the water system in the Municipality of Tirana”. Mr. Molla is currently project manager for this high profile project recently begun in Tirana.
Mr. Molla has a wide range of professional experience with over 10 years working for different reputable companies in Albania. Particular professional achievements include working as Project Manager at Gener 2 (Construction and Infrastructure Industry) in Albania, and Epidamus S.R.L in Florence Italy and SGS Automotive Albania as Compliance and Internal Control Officer. He has played a key role in the delivery of large infrastructure projects including the construction of a residential and service centre near Lake of Tirana, and reconstruction of the road Boge-Qafe Thore in Shkodra etc.
Mr. Molla holds the Degree in Civil Engineering at Technical Institute in Florence, Italy, and is proficient in Italian, English and French.
