Biography
Rafael Pérez-Feito is currently International Operations Director in Aqualia, a global water company serving more than 23 million people in 21 countries. With more than 15 years of experience in the water and sanitation sector, he joined Aqualia in 2005 as Corporate Development Director for Europe at a time in which the company was able to expand its operations to the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Portugal, becoming one of the global market leaders. Since then, he held other executive positions like Central and Eastern Europe Director and Europe Area Manager and has been a Member of different Boards of Directors and Supervisory Boards in several international water companies.
Prior to Aqualia, he worked in the Research and Consulting fields for different private and public companies in Spain and the United States, participating in several projects in Latin America and Spain.
Additionally, he is a Member of the Advisory Board at the IESE-United Nations Public-Private Partnerships International Specialist Centre “PPP for Cities”, Member of the UNECE Team of Experts on Public-Private Partnerships and Lecturer at the “International Master in Public Companies and Policy” (École des Ponts ParisTech, Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and Spanish Civil Engineers Association).
Rafael holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Agricultural Engineering from Madrid Polytechnic University, a MSc in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA and a MBA from IESE Business School.
