Biography
Dr. Mirka Wilderer is recognized as one of the leading female executives in the water industry with deep experience in corporate strategies, business transformation, and cross-functional leadership in global organizations. In 2019, Mirka was appointed the first female Chief Executive Officer of De Nora Water Technologies, a leader in disinfection and filtration technologies with a global footprint in the water industry.
Prior to De Nora, Mirka was Vice President and General Manager at Evoqua Water Technologies, where she held various roles. Mirka started her career at Siemens AG as strategy consultant and held management positions in Germany, China, Thailand, Indonesia, the United States and South Africa.
She is known as a “get-things-done” executive that inspires leaders to translate bold strategies into agile action plans that accelerate the execution of transformative strategic initiatives to rapidly scale enterprise value. Her personal mission is to lead business transformation by tapping into the individual strengths and talents of all employees to generate sustainable benefits for the greater good of society.
