Mahmood Lutaaya

Mahmood is an Engineer with wide working experience in; water utility management, strategic planning, institutional development, performance management, and incentive-based contracting. He is currently the Senior Manager Operations in charge of the Western and South Western Region of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) and also the Authorised representative of Kampala Water (the biggest operation area of NWSC that constitute over 60% of NWSC operations). He is a member of IWA Strategic Council and a member of the African Water Association (AfWA) Scientific and Technical Council. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Makerere University Uganda and a Master of Science Degree in Infrastructure Planning from the University of Stuttgart in Germany.
