Laurent Auguste

Laurent Auguste is an Operating Partner at Ara, where he is primarily focused on technical and operational matters. He has more than 25 years of extensive experience across various functions, managing multi-billion revenue businesses.  

Laurent started his career in 1991 as a consultant in Tokyo, thereafter joining Générale des Eaux in 1995 in Northern France. In 1999, after an initial position in Shanghai, he founded and led Veolia’s water activity in Korea followed by Japan in 2002 , and in 2008 was appointed Executive Vice President for the Americas. In 2013 he was appointed Senior Executive Vice President Development Innovation & Markets of Veolia and Member of the Executive Committee. 

He is a graduate of École Centrale de Lyon.
