Kunal Shah

Kunal Shah is Managing Director – Asia for Anaergia, an integrated solutions provider for organic waste management and resource recovery, where he oversees growth and sales activities. Previously he was VP – Global Market Development & Strategy responsible for global marketing and strategic partnerships for the company. Prior to joining Anaergia, he was Country Manager – Malaysia & Indonesia and a member of Global Business Development Team at VA Tech Wabag. 

Kunal has spearheaded successful development and implementation of technology-based EPC, DBO and BOT projects in municipal solid waste, biogas, wastewater treatment, seawater desalination, industrial water and wastewater reuse projects in South East Asia, Middle East, India and China.  

Kunal has a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pune and was a Singapore Young Water Leader in 2014. Actively engaged in number of professional activities, Kunal currently serves as Chair of Young Water Professionals. He is a council member of Singapore Water Association, the World Biogas Association and Imagine H2O Asia, as well as a global advisory council member of Global Water Impact Fund (GWIF).
