Jean-Didier Berthault
Biography
Mr Berthault has been Vice-President of SIAAP (Sanitation Great Paris Local Authority) since 2001, and is a member of the board of Eau de Paris, which is in charge of potable water production and distribution in Paris.
Elected in 2001, Jean-Didier Berthault is also a City Councilor for the 17th district of Paris, and has been a Great Paris Metropolitan Local Authority Councilor since 2016 responsible for water and climate. Mr Berthault was the Chief of Campaign of Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet, 2014 Mayoral candidate and former French Minister of Environment.
Mr Berthault is a member of the French Water Partnership, representing Great Paris Metropolitan Local Authority, and is in charge of local authorities’ college in the “Megacities Alliance for Water and Climate” included in COP (UNFCCC) and coordinated by UNESCO.
