Biography
Ms. Galit Sasson has worked as a water treatment engineer since 2008 at Mekorot National Water Company. She has held the position of Senior Engineer since 2013, serving as a process and desalination engineer at Mekorot’s Central District.
During her years at Mekorot, Ms. Sasson has been engaged in a range of process engineering projects. She was responsible for engineering supervision at a number of water treatment plants, including reclaimed wastewater systems and reverse osmosis brackish water desalination plants. She has been responsible for the installation of new water treatment technologies and supervised the operation of water treatment and pilot plants. Ms. Sasson has represented Mekorot in overseas projects and writing expert consulting reports and tender documents.
Ms. Sasson holds a B.Sc. with honors in Environmental Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa and a M.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
