Elizabeth Goos

Elisabeth is the leader of Sustainability Services across the EMEA Market for IBM Consulting. Before taking that role in March 2023, she led the Strategy and Sustainability Services for the DACH Market. Elisabeth is a sustainability strategist and helps clients across sectors to activate their strategies across all dimensions. She brings research, consulting,  technology and IBM’s vast ecosystem together to accelerate towards the company’s targets, like for Italian Region of Milano, where IoT enabled water-management solutions help to reduce water waste, optimize use and re-use of water. Prior to joining IBM Europe in 2021, Elisabeth headed the Innovation and Digital Strategy Consulting for Capgemini Invent in Asia-Pacific and worked for the Strategy consultancy Roland Berger. Elisabeth as a sustainability strategy certification from Cambridge University and holds a Master Degree in Political Sciences from the Universities Osnabrueck (Germany) and Harvard /USA).   IBM keeps pushing for a year to year reduction in water withdrawls at IBM locations, especially in high and extremely high water stressed regions and in 2023, IBM launched the second co-hort of the global non-profit Sustainability Accelerator along with the UNEP to support availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation.
