Biography

Daniel joined Stantec (formerly MWH) in 2002 where he has progressed his engineering career specialising in a number of fields including optioneering and designing wastewater treatment, renewable energy solutions and enhanced digestion schemes. In his most recent position as Technical Discipline Lead for MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation Control & Automation) Engineering for Stantec within the UK, he played a key role in Stantec’s digital steering group which is focused on bringing innovation to the water industry using technology.

In his new role, Daniel will lead the development and delivery of digital services to water clients across the UK and Ireland. Building on the success of Stantec IO, he will focus on combining emerging technologies with the expertise of our technical teams across our Water and Energy services, to develop innovative digital solutions that address project challenges and secure the best possible outcome for our clients.

With a wealth of experience in driving value and programme efficiency through technology, Daniel will provide leadership to our community of digital experts, fostering innovative product development at a local level while maximizing the benefit of digital services developed across our global networks for the benefit of our clients in UK & Ireland. He will work closely with our leadership and technical teams to develop a UK Digital Strategy aligning our technological offering with the needs of our water clients – helping them to meet the expectations of their communities and customers while addressing future challenges and developing solutions that help protect and enhance the environment and create social value.
