Biography
Claudio Stabile is an Italian-Brazilian executive in the water and sanitation sector. Since 2019, he has been the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Water and Sanitation Company of Paraná State (Sanepar), a large-sized Brazilian publicly traded mixed capital company, considered the most innovative in the country’s infrastructure sector. He has experience in public management and is a lawyer, post-graduated in Urban Territory Sustainability and both Civil Procedure and Administrative Law. He worked in the city of Cascavel, Paraná, Brazil as Legal Director and after as CEO of the Social Security Institute for Public Servants. He was appointed Secretary of Finance for that city in 2008. From 2011 to 2013, he started to work in the Paraná State as Chief of Staff – Legislative Assembly of the State. He was Administrative and Financial Director at Paranacidade – State Secretariat for Urban Development from 2013 to 2018. His main topics of interest are: strategies for smart water management, ESG business practices, climate changes adaptation and mitigation actions, partnerships for environmental sanitation infrastructure, circular and low carbon economies as well as innovation for sustainability.
