Carolina Venegas Martinez

Dr. Carolina Venegas Martinez is Autodesk Senior Strategy Manager for the Water Industry. She has more than 20 years of experience working in the environmental engineering/ water/wastewater field and has worked for consulting firms, regulatory agencies, and in academia (faculty, researcher, Chair) in the US and overseas. She actively serves as peer reviewer of over 15 journals and has authored several industry and scholarly papers in the field.

Carolina joined Autodesk in 2019 where she has been responsible for planning and driving the strategy and GTM, industry partnerships and acquisitions, and emerging market opportunities in the Water Industry, working successfully with external and internal stakeholders to find solutions to make the industry more sustainable and digitised. 

Carolina holds a BS in Civil Engineering and a Specialization degree in Sanitary Engineering from Universidad del Norte in Colombia, a Master’s degree in Environmental Technologies and a PhD in Environmental Engineering (focused on wastewater treatment), both from Universidad de Cantabria in Spain.
