Borja Blanco

Mr Blanco has been involved in the water industry for over 23 years, holding positions with leading water-related companies worldwide. After working for a combined period of about 14 years in USFilter and Veolia Water, he managed Energy Recovery, Inc. sales, marketing and business development efforts for 9 years. He is currently CEO of Aqua Advise, a specialised boutique consulting company for the desalination market.

Mr. Blanco serves on the Board of Directors of the International Desalination Association (IDA), as well as the European Desalination Society (EDS), and is very engaged in the global desalination market, promoting the importance of effective plant technology and affordable desalination solutions globally.

Mr. Blanco earned his degree in business administration and economics from Madrid University and a finance degree from Humberside Business School in the United Kingdom.
