Biography
Bill Malarkey is the Managing Partner for the North America region with Amane Advisors, the premier global strategic advisory firm focused on water and the circular economy. He is based in Philadelphia and advises a range of companies and investors across these sectors. Prior to joining Amane, Bill served in senior corporate development and strategy roles with industry leading companies including Severn Trent, American Water, Thames Water, and RWE. He also led the “Water & Industrials” investment banking practice at the boutique firm of Boenning & Scattergood, Inc.
Bill currently serves on the Board of Ocean Exchange, a 501.c.3 organization helping to advance the adoption of innovative solutions to support sustainability, with a focus on oceans, healthy coastal systems, the decarbonization of ocean transportation, and the development of the Blue Economy. He has previously has served as an Advisory Board Member of the Urban Water Council of the US Conference of Mayors, and as Vice Chairman of the Water Institute of the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships.
Bill earned both a Bachelor of Science in International Politics and a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University, and an LL.M. (International Law) from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg, Germany, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
