Biography
Alan Knapp is Sr. Director, Microelectronics Market for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC. In this role, he is responsible for identifying industry ultrapure water/ wastewater/ sustainability challenges and developing solutions for customers in the Semiconductor and High-Performance Materials markets.
Mr. Knapp has been with Evoqua since 2000 in a number of customer facing positions, including Key Account Management and Strategic Marketing. Alan has tackled several international assignments; including Singapore, where he was responsible for the development of the Semiconductor and Solar markets for Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC in Asia from 2008 thru 2010. He has been active with process water, wastewater, solutions, and products in the industrial market since 1984, including the power and pharmaceutical markets, with a focus on semiconductor applications since 1995.
Alan has a Mechanical Engineering Technologist diploma from Conestoga College in Kitchener, Ontario, along with several accreditations with ASME and ISO. Alan is also an active member of the International Roadmap for Devices and Systems (IDRS) UPW yield enhancement committee. He is also a member of the SEMI organization including Task Force development and a co moderator at the GWI Ultrapure Water Conference.
