Abdullah Al Zowaid

Eng. ABDULLAH ALZOWAID is the Deputy Governor for Production affairs of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) with more than 30 years of extensive experience in desalination industry and technology.

He graduated in Automation & Control from King Fahad University for Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). Alzowaid is a member of board of directors of Water & Electricity Regulatory Authority (WERA) of Saudi Arabia, a member of water supply & demands executive committee in Ministry of Environments, Water and Irrigation (MEWA), Board Chairman of Shuaibah Water & Electricity Company (SWEC), and Board chairman of Shuaibah Expansion Project Company (SEPCO).

Alzowaid joined SWCC since 1991. He is contributing with the decision maker of SWCC to pave the strategic direction and plans of SWCC future and water sector. Alzowaid is also a member of the board of directors of International Desalination Association (IDA).
